Can it be done?

Think waist deep bogs, epic hill climbs, challenging descents and then throw in a whole host of man made obstacles.

The rules are simple:

You must dismount to tackle the man made obstacles, but all the natural obstacles are fair game.

You must wear a helmet.

Bring your own bike.

You must be aged 16 and over to take part.

Will you have to carry your bike some of the way? Well it's unlikely that you'll get round if you don't.

This is the Peak District, so expect epic terrain. The 6km course is a tough challenge on foot, but we think that there may well be a few of you who can tackle the course on a cyclocross bike. Put the fun factor into your ride and take on the 30+ man made obstacles around the course. Make no mistake, this isn't going to be easy. It might only be 6km, but this is the toughest 6km you may ever undertake. It's definitely going to be muddy. We are famous for our waist deep bouncing bogs. At least we think they are waist deep, nobody has got to the bottom of them yet.

Death slide, watery tunnels, epic cargo climb over the Manifold river and a whole host of challenges await you. The event takes place at a breathtaking location in the Staffordshire Moorlands near Hollinsclough. Runners will be taking on the course from 10 til 12 and then we're throwing open the arena at 1pm for you to tackle our run, hard core cyclocross style. This is old style CX. Are you up for the challenge?

There is chip timing for all, as well as a Tech T Finishers shirt and a medal. Free parking too. Spectators welcome.

Find out what you are made of and take on the first CXOCR challenge in the UK.

Come and have a go if you think you're hard  enough.
